Ok.. not that *exact* tree... but I saw a Jacaranda in full bloom. It was spectacular, if a little early! I am fairly sure that Jacaranda season is normally in November... which means the local Jacaranda festival may not actually HAVE blooming trees to match it's name this year. Unless of course the organizers are paying attention like I was ;)
Here's to a wonderful October, friends! I've added a button to Mrs. B's 31 days of Halloween again this year.. so if you're inclined, pop over for some October fun!
How about if I trade with you humid Southern California weather? ;) I love the rain and like Oz it's been terribly dry. I'm ready for the Fall and colors, but not much luck here. I just discovered your blog and love it..
Why thank you Wendy :) I lived in Northern cali for 7yrs and remember feast or famine with rain! We have the same deal here, but the news reports the dams are ALL full (which hasnt happened in the decade I've lived here!) Enjoy your fall colours!
That's a beautiful tree!!
Thanks Todd.. SE Queensland is blanketed with that colour for about a month, starting right about now actually :D You see little patches of it all across the hills as you drive along.. it's really gorgeous!
That is one beautiful tree! Oh happy spring! I am so loving it! :-) (except of course for change of season flu I seem to have caught! gah) Have a great October yourself Lovely! Hugs and smoochies xoxoxoxox (ok maybe I better leave out the smoochies, don't want to give you my germs! LOL)
